The Definitive Process
Artists: Karen White, Jan Shield, Arun Sharma, & Keith Yurdana

Evolving Structures, the Definitive Process is a unique exhibition presented by the Chehalem Cultural Center beginning on Monday, July 12th and will be exhibited until Friday, September 10, 2010. From July 12th through July 17th, artists Karen White and Jan Shield will begin installing their large sculptural environmental art works primarily using materials from nature. During the week, between the hours of 1 to 4 pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 1 to 7 pm Tuesday and Thursday, the public may come to the Central Gallery and interact with the artists as they install their work. Additionally, artist Arun Sharma will exhibit a large sculpture containing ants that produce a profound conceptual art statement about the cycle of life. Artist Keith Yurdana will display a series of drawings depicting the way nature adapts and mutates for the survival of the species.

On Saturday, August 21st from 1:30 to 2:30 pm, the Chehalem Cultural Center will host a free public Symposium in conjunction with the exhibit entitled, Natural Elements, an Organic Way of Creating.
