Glass Fusing

The heat is on! Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of glass fusing, from the properties of glass under different heat scenarios, glass cutting, project design and execution. Together students will explore the exciting potential of fused glass through theory, details about fusing cycles and the endless possibilities in several three-week sessions. Students can choose one session or as many as they like to make as many projects as they want to make. Materials are priced by the pound and fees are to be paid to the instructor based on the type of project ischosen. Glass is priced at $12 per pound.

Glass Casting

Adult
Try your hand at casting glass to create thicker works of fused glass. Using a mold or ‘dam’ to contain the flow of molten glass, students will develop skills and techniques in carving, plaster-based investments and fiber paper design fusing. Come and explore the beauty of creating your own glass works of art. Students can choose one session or as many as they like to make as many projects as they want to make. Materials are priced by the pound and fees are to be paid to the instructor based on the type of project chosen. Glass is priced at $12 per pound.
