Annie Heisey is an artist who works in gouache and oil paint. She has exhibited at the Carnegie Museum of Art, Boston Center for the Arts, and various galleries in Portland, Oregon. Her work has been reviewed in the Boston Globe, the Pittsburgh City Paper, and other publications, and when she grows up she wants to be an accountant.

Each $25 entry receives a artists membership to the Chehalem Cultural Center
The Chehalem Cultural Center proudly presents the first juried exhibition to showcase the best contemporary 2D art in the state of Oregon.Eligibility:
Eligibility is open to any artist who is at least 18 years of age and is a resident of Oregon. Eligible 2D artwork includes paintings, photography, prints or mixed media.
All works should be framed or with no visible staples on sides and must be completely prepared for hanging (including wiring). Maximum size is 5ft X 5ft and not more than a 100 pounds.

Entry Process:

Start by registering at www.chehalemculturalcenter.org and click on the Opportunities – Artists link. Follow the instruction for entering and pay the $25 application fee.
Alternatively, you may download this information and deliver in person or by mail with your images on a non-returnable CD.  If selected for the exhibition by the judge, you must provide further images of the accepted artwork at 300 dpi that is suitable for printing. The Center will have the right to use these images in any promotional materials regarding the Center or the exhibit.Important Dates:
Friday, January 6 – Entries to the show close at mid night
Monday, January 16 – Artists accepted will be posted on CCC web site
Accepted artists will also be notified via email
Tuesday, Jan 17 to Saturday, January, 21 – Artwork delivery to the Center
Tuesday, January 31 to March 30 – Exhibition will be open during regular
business hours
Friday, February 3 – Award presentations and artists reception during ArtWalk

Sales:

40% commission will be retained by the Chehalem Cultural Center on all sales. Works must be for sale and will be sold at the price indicated on the entry form. Artists who sell work will receive payment within 30 days of the closing date.
