Mindful Movement Workshop

Does it hurt to sit down, get up, climb steps, walk from here to there. Would moving better improve the quality of your life? In this 2-class workshop, you will learn how to you will discover how  eliminate pain naturally, stand taller, and increase body awareness to move your body in every plane of motion easily, intelligently, and without pain.

This class is designed for all ages and all levels of experience and blends principles of yoga, Pilates, anatomy, biomechanics, and functional movement. You will learn practical, intelligent movements that will enhance your yoga practice, specialty sport, and everyday life.  

For this workshop you only need to bring yourself a yoga mat or large towel, 2 hand towels, and some water. If movement is difficult, there will be chairs available as needed.

About your instructor, Via Anderson: Via is a 74 year old grandmother with a pacemaker who embodies intelligent movement for herself and helps others do the same. She believes that moving intelligently is the elixir of healthy living.
