Wheel Throwing & Handbuilding (for ages 18 +)

Introduction/Intermediate
Learn the art of throwing pottery forms on the wheel, along with trimming, basic principles of firing and glazing techniques. Small class size ensures the help you need to achieve and improve your skill level.  Class will explore using larger amounts of clay to form sculptural and altered forms on the wheel. We will also learn to throw off the hump and combine hand-built techniques to wheel thrown forms. This includes pottery baskets and pots with handles. This course is flexible and can begin at your skill level, when you can come.

Clay and Tool Kits are available for purchase at the front desk before class.
