The Newberg Area Historical Society hosts a FREE monthly presentation focused on sharing the history of Newberg. The programs cover a variety of subjects which facilitate conversations between community members and historians. 

THIS PRESENTATION WILL OCCUR AT THE NEWBERG PUBLIC LIBRARY. 

November 21st: The Newberg Graphic Digitization Project - Newberg Public Library director Leah Griffith will present on the completion of the work to make the early issues of the Newberg Graphic newspaper available online in a searchable format.  The archives from 1889 to 1927 provide an invaluable resource for researching local history with the internet.  

Leah will share how to easily use the online archive, some of her discoveries during the digitization process, and future plans.

This project was funded by a collection of individuals and community organizations, including the Newberg Area Historical Society and its members.
