Art Club: Art & Nature (for Grades K-5) | Mondays 4pm-5:30pm | Mar 9- Apr 20

Explore and observe the beauty and wonder of nature through art. Create 2D and 3D projects using a variety of natural and eco-friendly materials combined with painting, printing and collage. Build skills and creativity in a fun environment with friends.

Imagination Station encourages young artists to grow, create, relax, and have fun! Express your likes, interests, thoughts and feelings using a variety of art materials and techniques. 2D and 3D art projects are inspired by stories, artists, music, culture, and art prompts.

Teen Art Class: Fantasy World Building

Ages 9-16, Thursdays 5pm-6:30pm, Mar 12-Apr 23 (No Class on March 26)

Artist-Instructor: Lillian Carver, $150/session 

If you’re a lover of fantasy, comics, or imaginative storytelling, this six-week course is your gateway to creating a fully realized world of your own. Each week, we’ll explore a different pillar of world building and bring it to life through a unique art piece. From crafting maps and illustrating bustling cityscapes to designing characters, flora, and even entire solar systems, you’ll gradually assemble a vivid, cohesive world one artwork at a time.

Board Game Workshop Series- Play to Create: The Art of Game Design, Ages 10–14 (Grades 5–8)

Perfect for creative minds who love to play games, invent new rules, and explore how games work.

Ever wondered how your favorite games like Catan, Uno, or Dungeons & Dragons came to be?
In this five-week workshop, students explore the world of tabletop game design—where math meets creativity and play becomes invention. Each session blends play, discovery, and creation. Students analyze popular games, explore mechanics like chance, balance, and storytelling, and design their own original tabletop game to take home and share.

By the end of the series, participants will have:

  • Played and analyzed classic games

  • Designed, tested, and refined a prototype

  • Learned how game creators market and share their designs

  • Time for revision & polishing

  • Learn about marketing, virtual design & storytelling

Christian Cook is a writer, educator, and designer who teaches storytelling and game design through creativity and play. Combining his background in narrative design, tabletop strategy, and interactive storytelling, he helps students turn ideas into games that spark imagination and collaboration.

 


Creative Writing for Ages 12+

Tuesdays 5:30pm-7pm, Mar 10-Apr 21 (No class March 24)

Artist Instructor: Annika Morse $150/session 

If you like designing your own worlds and dreaming up new stories then this class is for you. This class will focus on creativity and thinking outside the box while also teaching the building blocks of writing a good story and how to edit your writing. Writing materials provided, bring yourself and your thinking caps!


Creating & Playing w/ Spring Herbs (Ages 7-15) | Weds 4:15PM-5:15PM | Mar 11- Apr 22

(No Class March 25)

Artist-Instructor:  Mckaila Egan is the creator of Medicine Ghippsy

$120/6 week session, covers all materials, herbs, tools & culinary equipment *Join the waitlist!

In this fun and hands-on class, kids will explore the world of herbs and nature!

They'll learn how to identify common herbs, make their own herbal teas, and create natural art and simple body care products like lip balm or bath salts.

Through creative projects, the kids will connect with nature, use their senses, and discover how plants can be helpful in everyday life.


Fiber Arts for Teens Ages 10-18 

Wednesdays 4pm-5:30pm, Mar 11- Apr 22 (No class on March 25)

Artist-Instructor: Kat Puente $170/session (all materials provided) 

Ever thought about fabric as art? What about thread as a way to illustrate ideas? This class is about communicating ideas through fabrics, threads and found objects. In this class students will learn how to fuse fabrics, do free motion stitching on a machine, and utilize various embroidery techniques to create a 20” x 20” art quilt of their own design.

Come join us for this handbuilding and wheel-throwing class for young ceramicists, both new and returning!

For Kindergarten- 2nd Grade Only

Student led clay play with instruction. A hands-on introductory course that teaches our youngest learners foundational ceramic skills and practices. Students will learn how to build creatures and vessels out of clay. In addition to learning how to build ceramic pieces, students will learn how to view and observe artwork.

Come join us for this handbuilding and wheel-throwing class for young ceramicists, both new and returning!

For 3rd-5th Grades Only

Theme based and student led clay play with guided instruction. Building off the skills learned in K-2 Ceramic Club students will learn how to build bigger and taller handbuilt forms. Students will have opportunities to potentially throw on the pottery wheel.

Teen Ceramics w/Pottery Wheel Focus (Grades 6-12) | Thursdays 4:15pm-5:45pm | Mar 12-Apr 23

Learn the basics of throwing on the potters' wheel. We’ll also explore hand-building techniques, glazing, and surface design with a “creature” theme.
