Art Club- Art Takes Flight!

All classes are held onsite at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville. Artist- Instructor: Didi Johnson | $150/ session

Calling our young artists to spread their wings and embark on the maiden voyage of The CCC Art Club at the Evergreen Air and Space Museum! Explore the skies using fun art materials and let your creativity soar. Thematic activities are inspired by the museum’s collection including the impressive Spruce Goose to imaginary space scapes and beyond.

 

Creating & Playing with Herbs for Ages 7-15 - Will return this fall!

You will make Tea & infuse flowers and oil, create your own Lip Balm & Bath Products, build Spell jars: filled with different herbs for: sleep, creativity & happiness & make your own skin healing salve to use beyond class!

Creative Threads: Fiber Collage for Teens - Will return this fall!

Ever thought about fabric as art? What about thread as a way to illustrate ideas? This class is about communicating ideas through fabrics, threads and found objects. In this class students will learn how to fuse fabrics, do free motion stitching on a machine, and utilize various embroidery techniques to create a 20” x 20” art quilt of their own design.

Ceramics Club (Grades K-5)

Come join us for this handbuilding and wheel-throwing class for young ceramicists, both new and returning!

FRIDAYS

Teen Ceramics w/Pottery Wheel Focus (Grades 6-12)

Learn the basics of throwing on the potters' wheel. We’ll also explore hand-building techniques, glazing, and surface design with a “creature” theme.
