Join us to kick-off Hispanic Heritage month and the community passport! The event will feature a performance by Ballet Folklórico de Nuestros Ancestros (performing at 6:15pm) and an art exhibition by Eduardo Cruz. Attendees will get to enjoy traditional Mexican snacks and refreshments and there will be wine for sale from Cramoisi Vineyard.

Lotería (Spanish word meaning "lottery") is a traditional Mexican board game of chance, similar to bingo, and is played on a deck of cards instead of numbered ping pong balls. The winner is the first player that shouts "¡Lotería!" right after completing a tabla or a previous agreed pattern, similar to bingo: row, column, diagonal, four corners, or unique to this game, or four in a square (a pozo')'.
Gather with us to make painted terracotta pots and Mexican foil art with other community members and enjoy cafecito (small coffee”), chocolate caliente (hot chocolate), and snacks!
